I want a fridge which sends spam. Can they program it to send sandwiches and bento too?

More Orwellian are the webcam outfitted TV's. It's just been revealed that GCHQ has been hacking images via folks' Yahoo cam-chats. The spamwich jokes aside, this is really no joke.

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration manufacturer quickly denied such a vulnerability actually existed.

Unless you're talking about the U.S. Code (laws of the nation), there is no such thing as a "manufacturer" of the FAA.

Forgive my ignorance but why and how on earth would a fridge be able to be hacked? Doesn't it have to be connected to the internet, or now we even connect fridges via wi-fi?? I, have I missed something in the evolution of technology?
