New U.S. electric car chargers are a green leap of faith

Looking around large cities and suburbs, you definitely see a fair amount of Teslas and a hand full of Leafs. Go a little further out and you will see none.

This plan needs to focus on cities and decades later it might be effective outside that area. Cities also have more apartments where home charging is not an option.

Given 20 to 30 min charging, they should focus on supermarkets or other spots where you can utilize that time besides watch water boil while you charge.
