The Kyoto-based firm, which successfully forayed into the smartphone game market with the release of Pokemon Go earlier this year, said Nintendo Switch will be rolled out in March 2017.

Nope

Aside from the dog ears it looks pretty nice. Unfortunately their line up is rather disappointing.

False advertising as the two third party software shown (Skyrim from Bethesda, and 2K17 from 2K) were not confirmed to be in development for the Switch, as per representatives from each company. Concept looks to be very interesting, but many questions such as battery life, price, backwards compatibility and Joy-Con ergonomics need answering.

All-in-all, it seems as though Ninty's learned from the mistakes from the Wii U and are trying to create a new niche for themselves in the gaming market. Props.

Yeah but the Kyoto based company was not behind the release of Pokemon Go. Tho their sales on the Pokemon games for the 3DS went up after the release of the Pokemon app by Niantic.

I hope they release third-party games in their new consoles and offer more hardware power. Otherwise, they'll have just another hard time competing in the consoles' market.
