NTT DOCOMO Inc on Tuesday unveiled new 19 handsets for the summer season. The handsets will be released from June through September. DOCOMO stressed that it is trying to reflect the voices of customers on its services.
Kiyohito Nagata, senior vice president and managing director of product department, said that DOCOMO will focus more on the usability of its handsets and provide more online contents, such as free movie download service.
Nagata explained the new marketing strategy is “answering the voice of customers. “What we are announcing today is what customers wanted for a long time, which we have to immediately overcome. We are confident that we are hearing their voices.”
Asked if the monthly charge for packet communication would be cheaper like its competitors as online contents increase, Nagata declined to give a clear answer.© Japan Today
