Online search to make up lost time with AI

I would prefer a v.1.0 search engine that simply matched my requested terms. Second guessing my needs (badly), ignoring half my search terms, and delivering a bunch of commercial links and pop culture stuff has resulted in a poorer service.

Hopefully we will soon see crowd-sourced search, persistent search and other distributed search technologies from other companies, that will be more use to us.

The most important part of 'AI' and the bit governments need to regulate in, is the option for users to turn it off.
