OpenAI comes to Asia with new office in Tokyo

Another missed opportunity to get a major player to open anywhere else than Tokyo. Oh well as usual plus 1 to the brain drain

The problem is China will just send students to Japan, and those students will be hired to work for these offices; thus, stealing technology and information from the tech companies and their Japanese business partners.

And where is all THAT talent supposed to come from? The level of computer literacy and English ability here is appalling. I am guessing mostly expats being paid in USD?
