If we had had social media a hundred years earlier, you can imagine Oppenheimer posting 'With the proper safeguards, atomic bombs can help protect people, deter adversaries, and even prevent future conflict.'

It's still only a theoretical cooperation agreement, a paper tiger remaining a paper kitten. That garbage technology will allow exactly nothing in high-pressure situations, because it first doesn't work in general and second because every single AI output or decision has to be verified, while there's no resources and time left for that, especially under higher pressure.
