compete online in “time-tested kill-everything-that moves” death matches or to see who can salvage the most resources from the hostile land.

Its good to see video game develpers working so hard for the betterment of society (very heavy sarcasm here!) IMHO games like this are worthless crap that nurture violent behavior in young people (and some adults as well.) Moral responsibility is a thing of the past, now it's all for the sake of profit. Disgusting!

Easy then dont get it and dont play it. Its that simple.

Moral responsibility is a thing of the past, now it's all for the sake of profit. Disgusting!

Its a game! Do you know the difference between a game and reality? Because not everyone who plays violent video games becomes a serial mass murdering nutcase.

If games make people violent. what about movies, books, TV , music, the world should be in Chaos!

I believe in a discussion forum one is free to voice an opinion. I'm well aware of the difference between games and reality and I have to say, reality (without the violence) is so much more enjoyable! I've personally never owned a video game and don't plan on ever investing in one. It was not gaming that I was commenting on, it was the nature of the games; I personally feel they are becoming too violent.

Since it is a forum and everyone should be able to voice their opinions... Then we should all be able to agree to disagree. You have never owned a video game console nor plan on it, cool. Please do not judge others as you wouldn't want to be judged

Ronald F Stark,

So by your own admission you have never played or owned a video game. So then how do you know they are becoming more violent. Because the media tells you? Also given you have never played or owned a game then why would you impose your ill informed opinion on others? If you feel they are becoming too violent then that is your problem continue doing what you have been up until now and dont play or buy them. For the rest of us that enjoy a good game then let us decide what we like and dont like.

Games are heavily judged by a board of censors before going on general sale. Doesn't matter what you think about them fortunately.
