I think Russian parents are actually happy about all this.

Do you think Russian parents whose kids have been killed in Ukraine are happy, or has the mighty Russian state even informed them of their deaths?

$2 million to the U.N. refugee agency and Save the Children "to support the victims of this tragedy".

Now get the oil and petrochemical industries that have profited from doing business with Putin/Russia to do the same thing, same with the western asset management firms and their sales staff that have propped up the Putin regime for so many years. Along with individual share holders who've got a few more dollars in the bank from mutual funds, especially those 'emerging market' and 'oil and energy' based ones. Predatory capitalism, whether the west's supposed 'free market' variety, or Russia and Chinese state variety, continues to deplete the planet of resources, further pollute it, and cause wars. All for a few dollars more, especially for the ruling caste. Greed is NOT good, especially the unchecked greed of the Putin's and unchecked greed has done great harm, regardless what the Internet influencers and far right media entertainers tell their followers. On a greed is NOT good tangent, find videos of armed Russian soldiers smashing their way into unarmed, old people's houses to steal food. But the soldiers are probably from poor families, and Russian rulers have long had poor people, including serfs to mistreat. The Russian caste system is as bad as they get, and Putin will go down in western history, assuming he does not nuke us and we can have history books, as one of the worst 'rulers' of all time. On par with Hitler, Stalin and Mao, i.e as low as a human can go.

"joins the global community in calling for peace in Ukraine"

how is using western taxpayers money (while their own citizens suffer poverty and homelessness,) to buy expensive destructive weapons to give to militias like Azov Battalion who have engaged in an 8 year assault on Ukrainian Russian speakers equate to “calling for peace?

these game companies should actually study what is really going on before being pressured by geopolitics. They are leisure companies. They should keep making children happy. Regardless.

Tell me more about laboratories for the production of bacteriological weapons in Ukraine. 30 of them...

It's not Nintendo

Oh no... not the heckin' video games! That'll show Vlad. Good work, fellas.

Its very amusing to read the Putin fanboys getting all psyched up about how much Russia doesn't need video games. Or clothes. Or electronics. Or hamburgers. Or money. Or anything not made in Russia itself.

Yay, we go back to Soviet times when only entertainment was to watch patriotic musical performance on state TV, while we live in grey concrete cube and drive beautiful Moskvitch car with windows that can open and close and only cost 12 years salary to buy, very convenient.

Suspected 30? Proven 3 so far. Russia will close them down. Even USA admits to funding them.

I think you confused with USA has biological chemical research in 30 different countries.

but computer games has nothing to do with kids playing games. Unless it’s BioHazzard of course.

This will all be a massive detox for Russian kids.

Gotta love the spin by the Russophiles. Its getting pretty desperate.

Good for Sony and Nintendo. The free world does not need to do business with fascist Russia, nor their dirty money.

I'm sure Russians can buy a cheap Chinese knock-off - if their Weimar-republic status ruble will stretch that far. Perhaps a PlayStalion or a Z-box.

@Rodney

Ukrainian government and Russia shared a common goal to eliminate Azov extremists. Up until the invasion, the Ukrainian government had managed to reduced numbers of active Azov members down to the low hundreds, and driven them out of mainstream society entirely. They would have died out completely eventually if Putin hadn't invaded. Their existence was based on extreme nationalist ideals and not compatible with contemporary free Ukraine, Putin has given Azov much needed air, if not chance to thrive again.

Putin is a dictatorial leader, good at suppressing people, not good at advancing national strategic goals. Just look at the situation in Russian and surround. Who on earth want this kind of outcome other Putin and Xi.

Sorry, Russia never was fascist. Fascist ideology was/is popular in lot of other countries.

Russian’s quality of life will soon be the same as North Koreans. I don’t think Russians will stand for it though. I see an uprising coming.
