This is pretty amazing and really cool. I'd be sure it'll be adopted into society way more easily than the Segway. I can already imagine Red Bull tricking these out to go 30kmh through urban obstacle courses.
But sad to say, with every sale there will be a correlation to an increased BMI. Soon enough they'll need to make a 200kg version. The world is looking more and more like WALL-E...

That's sweet. It would be great for these hot summer days when you need to walk somewhere, but want to limit physical activity so as to not sweat.

Those two back wheels look pretty fragile.

At under $1,000 USD, it should have a large market.

wheels are pretty small. could see some older people getting pitched off when the wheels get stuck on a rough pavement or a rock.

It's a toy really a bit like a razor. Agree with fds but think the target market isn't the aged and infirm.
