Pokemon Go creator thinks metaverse needs to keep it 'real'

I predict the giant leap to the metaverse by Meta (Facebook) will go down as one of the worst business decisions in history — the Edsel of the century.

(Haha, I know many here will have to look up Edsel.)

If people were not already fans of video games, I just don't see how all of a sudden they'll be shelling out money to get into this VR gaming thing.

Sounds like wistful thinking. Personally I welcome a Meta world where I can stay at home and browse the net. Much more fun.
