About 96% of all hydrogen currently produced requires the burning of fossil fuels. There is nothing “green” about hydrogen except the state subsidies being used to enrich those who are promoting it. The article flat out lies when it says hydrogen is easily stored and transported, in reality it requires much larger tanks than fossil fuels or LPG, and liquid hydrogen is extremely difficult and dangerous to store. The reality is that, for the moment, using ordinary gasoline or diesel is still more efficient and less polluting than hydrogen.

It seems that we have been told that a hydrogen revolution is just around the corner for the last 70 years. I'm not going to hold my breath.

I have been hearing about the imminent hydrogen revolution for so many decades that at this point I think it is more distraction than reality.
