I've always wondered how to better utilize the solar panel fields and this is a good idea! I even posted this question a few weeks ago on JT. I wonder if there's quite a bit of heat under those panels or if it's cool. Does anybody know?

It's certainly not the first solar farm of this type. I've seen others. It's a good idea. The main problem is the animals sometimes damage (try to eat) wires and other sensitive things.

Actually the animals all tend to sit in the shady areas under the solar panels because it's cooler there.

Cabling can be placed in conduit or metal tubing.

Yes, it makes sense.

19 gigawatt over 6 months the other 6 months dormant. Then you have decide to remove and store the panels or leave them out and wear the cost of wear and tear cause to being exposure to Hokkaido very harsh winters. It certainly isn’t cost effective but 19 gigs of pure clean energy annually.

And solar dogs can watch over the sheep.
