Societies will break down with total anarchy the norm. If people are not able to take a place in society, they will not obey the rules of society. Why should they??

Robots will make robots, and robots will make the repairs.

Robots do not have to look or move like people, they just have to be designed to do repetitive jobs in place of people. Robots need humans for the design and creativity aspects, and they may not be very good at work in rice paddies or plantations, fishing or farming, and especially in crime, but it is the AI component that could be the decisive factor. How intelligent do we want these robots to be?
