I'd like too see these 'dancing machines' dance to 'The Safety Dance', 'Walk the Dinosaur' or the 'Humpsey Hump'. Let's get wild here!

Probably more talented than today’s boy bands

Yeah, but I'll bet it still was a human running the Steadicam!

Pretty neat! Also, the robots won't be embarrassed if it makes a wrong move or turn.

I don't think the Taliban have anything to worry about at this time. Lots of high-tec spare parts up for grabs were they to be deployed, and you can hear them so far away!

That said, it would be interesting to see how Combat effective these robots can really be ? I doubt very much that we have anything to be concerned over - those concerns belong to Hollywood films and Sci-books at present.

We already have warfare with 'drone' fighter jets. And these more 'humanoid' robots could be more effective in combat, but somebody has to be directing them. Robots are programmed, they can't 'think' for themselves. They utilize logic but there must be an intelligent person behind them.

Meanwhile, Japan is building kawaii robots

One advantage robots have is that they don't care about getting hit and dying. They can just keep coming and coming with no regard to casualties. They can even be suicide bombers, and there's no ethical quandary

Better to lose hardware like that than to lose lives. And you can recycle the junk to build something from it again. Just like the sci-fy films.
