Non sense, this is Samsung propaganda. During the last quarter, Apple earned more than Samsung's entire mobile unit (which includes PCs, netbooks and tablets) plus the mobile phone hardware divisions of LG, Nokia, Huawei, Lenovo and Motorola. In other words, Apple's 33.8 million iPhone sales earned more money for the company than Samsung's 120.1 million, Nokia's 64.6 million, LG's 14.4 million and Huawei's 12.1 million phone sales combined.
Apple is not going after volume, it never did and never wanted to, it goes after profits.

And how much Apple have to pay Samsun from that for all the components Apple use from Samsun?
Apple fanboi, still drinking the Koolaid even after Steve pass.

Lets not forget who STOLE the DESIGN from WHOM, and TRIED to pass it off as their OWN, and was Internationally SUED and LOST. " ANYone ?, ANYone " ? Yes; we all know.

They only lost in the States where it's Apple territory, the rest of the world had enough sense.

Oh yes Apple did go after volume......... when it was leading the volume race. Let's not retcon history here.
And profits are definitely good for the business. But profits don't necessarily mean good for the consumers. These are two separate things to keep in mind. Look at Exxon.

@WA4TKG - The irony is that a huge part of the similarity between the iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones comes from the similarity of the Android operating system which of course is made by Google.
Samsung did model their Android phones on iPhones, like every other smartphone manufacturer did. Apple is to be credited with revolutionising smartphones with their iPhone in 2007, but does this mean only they can make phones with rounded corners and rectangular screens with rows of icons?
