The chances of injury are very low but always fly with the belt loose so if there were a sudden drop then you wouldn’t get a close up of the ceiling!

It is like in a car, you never know when a driver will bump into you.

Keep safe with seatbelt or bones may crack.

Belting up is the best advice, though for the poor guy/gal in the toilet at the time... things would have gotten rather embarrassingly messy if not painfully so.

Also, spare a thought for the cabin crew who have to wander around upon your behalf.
