It's OK, the technology is mature and trusted and tested by our partner the CCP on 1.4 billions people, including onerous verifications on 2 millions Uyghurs, and counting.

Singapore was always a police state. Being a nanny state has worked for them so far, so who is anyone else to raise issues of privacy concerns.

Singapore is what the CCP strives to be, a highly controlled one party police state where everyone lives in high rise flats, no traditional poverty to speak of so it all looks pretty and puts on a smiley face to the world.
