People like to knock credit cards. But to date, they are still the most secure form of payments. Unless you are using JCB.
No matter what you buy, you naturally have insurance from theft, breakage, and even depreciation in some cases. You get life insurance and travel insurance automatically when you book your trips. Even car insurance when you rent. Mastercard, Visa, and American Express take care of their customers.
Apple already hates refunding iTunes transactions. Therefore, it's only natural that they will give you a hard time to refund apple cash.
Lastly, Credit cards are first insured by the card company and secondarily by the issuing company. Cash in banks are insured by the government. Apple Cash has no insurance.
