It's another moral panic. If you are vulnerable, nervous and easily upset, use the setting options on offer and don't offer yourself up to the comments of the entire planet. It's what those settings are there for. They work, so use them. Nothing is entirely harmless. If you want a world that safe, you would have to sped your entire life in your bedroom, protected by your parents. Banning things from the majority on such a premise is unacceptable, Orwellian censorship.
