Toyo Tire unveils airless tire

Michelin over a decade ago showed something similar, but it appears durability is still an issue for such a radical tire design.

Cost and Durability will be interesting things to watch here.

Some mountain bike tires already use airless mesh network - no flats

Gees! Could they produce in any more gaudy colors? There's no way I'd put them on my car.

Could we see the tires driven over nails and sharp objects?
