Bangalore, once the garden city of India, is long gone now and what actually exists in its place is a ghastly concrete jungle.

The politicians who get their taxes from urban centres in India have no incentive to provide infrastructure or solve urban issues because their votes come from semi-urban and rural areas.

But I am sure the 28 billionaires who call Bengaluru their home will think of some solution. Or maybe they will just flee to Dubai or London.

From the article it seems like the problem is forcing a city to undergo changes that are the consequence of the development of the whole country, this obviously has not worked for Bengaluru and it would seem it would not work for any other city that becomes its replacement.

It won´t change overnight and I see India only as one of the country that hosts many hotline companies where you can´t understand much of what is said to you...
