“Eight weeks ago I would have said the days of Twitter are over; I don’t say that anymore,” Global Equities Research analyst Trip Chowdhry told AFP.

The analyst said Trump has shown how potent Twitter can be for those who embrace it.

“I think that probably the worst for Twitter is over,” Chowdhry said. “This platform has legs.”

Ridiculous. This Trip Chowdhry is a perfect example of why we had a global financial crisis. These people need to be ridiculed and ostracized. I'm glad my money isn't invested with them.

I wouldn't call a messaging service that limits you to 140 characters a "powerful communication tool". It's a hyped-up platform but the hype has clearly diminished now and most people see what a poor communication tool it really is.

Twitter has very limited usage, so it would be difficult to add something to it. The company might want to create something brand new.

You have to give it to them for surviving this long . Silicon Valley moves at light speed & is very unforgiving, so it will be interesting to see how the next 10 years pan out!
