Twitter has influence - but that's not luring users

Twitter make people stupid.

Twitter is useless to most people. It's good for famous people to shout out to their fans, but for normal folks who don't have tons of admirers, it's a waste of time.

Being endorsed by that dangerous oaf in the White house can't be doing much for Twitters popularity.

it's useful for honest communication as well as in a technical or support domain but for blind illogical ranting it isn't. This is a feature! Rants can be easily mocked and upvoted more than the illogical rant, as Trumpkins shows. Not useful for companies or sycophant marketing.
