No thank you. Germanwings, Malaysian Airlines, EgyptAir 20 years ago. I prefer having a second person on hand in case of the crazies.

One glitch and planes will be falling from rain. In the one pilot what if the pilot is incapacitated?The signal to the aircraft severed?

New technology to reduce pilot workload, it can be all right this new technology is monitored by airline company when the pilot has a disease like as: heart-attack or cerebral infarction.

Additional: A sudden disease.

With fewer pilots airlines will be able to make the cockpit smaller and cram several extra passengers into the newly created space.
