Iron man armour? More like Halo's MJOLNIR armour.

SimondBOct. 14, 2013 - 02:00PM JST Good old America, Always spending time and billions on perfecting how to kill others more efficiently.

Minor correction: How to kill others more efficiently with zero risk to themselves. They pretend they're such big manly men, but I've met mice with more courage. They only go into a fight when they've got an overwhelming technological advantage... and even then they normally lose (e.g. Vietnam, Syria, Somalia, etc.)

The U.S. Military... the biggest bunch of cowardly killers the planet has ever seen.

Uh oh internet warrior talking about courage...

I'm pretty sure most soldiers aren't out to get themselves killed. Anyone who only fights 'to look courageous' deserves a bullet to the head. (hopefully in a cool movie-like heroic fashion?)

Based on your logic, the US army should be fighting naked with pistols for ULTIMATE HONOR!

This old news. They have been working on this for a decade. And every time an iron man film comes out someone writes an article about it. Why today I have no idea

Haven't they yet figured out how to make a belt that made T.H.U.N.D.E.R agent Dynamo 100 times stronger even if just for 30 minutes at a time?

Uh, yeah, obviously. It would be stupid not to. And suggesting, as you have, that that is somehow evidence of cowardice is also, well, stupid.

Frungy just want everyone to fight like General Butt Naked, forget all the protective gear. Just go into battle with nothing on but shoes and your rifle. If it is cowardice to want good equipment for your men, then yes the US is cowardly and proud of it. I would rather have our soldiers come back alive then die with honor. honor don't raise there children when they are gone.

Everything you mentioned is a generalization, minus the defeats in Vietnam and Somalia, both of which are two vastly different levels of engagement. But that is not "normally" losing. And if you could tell me of a country that doesn't want to throw the lives of its soldiers away, then I would tell you of a country that is the farthest thing from being moral, or worth defending.

Please don't make a post fueled by your own vitriol and without any logical argument.

Yeah, all our battleships in the Pacific were sunk or heavily damaged in a few hours of action, so naturally we waited until we had an overwhelming advantage again before we went to war with Japan... Oh. Wait...

I remember neither the Syrian "fight" we were in nor the Somalian "fight" we were in. Maybe I've been a victim of history revision? Perhaps you are talking about the pair of helicopters that were shot down in Somalia during an attempt to take out a warlord? I wouldn't really call that a "fight" considering the goal was only a particular individual. Had it been a "fight", the city would have been attacked rather than flown-over.

I have a few more for your list:

Grenada, 1983 Libya, 1986 (in retaliation for a discotheque bombing in Berlin) Abbottabad, Pakistan, 2011 (Osama Bin Laden) Again, not really a fight as the target was an individual, but if we're including Somalia...

Every military in the world goes into war with an advantage. It's been that way since the bronze age. Every military advancement has been a counter to the opponent's advantage. Your comment regarding the U.S. military is not only inaccurate but offensive.

Why Iron Man? You only need one Hulk to win.

Iron Man armor suits plus future cheetah robot will really force most nation including Russia not to abandon nuclear weapons because even to this present day, the US has the most sophisticated and massive conventional weapon stockpiles. How much more in the advancement in artificial intelligence and infantry/personnel weapon and protective systems.

The future Cheetah Robot, which can be accessory to and logistics-carrier for special operations of elite forces wearing iron man suits, can also be well-potent killing machines. Details in the link below:

Read the original "Starship Troopers" It has long discussions on the political reasons for such technology.
