I don't have the technical knowledge to comment on this manufacturing process, but the 777 has had a sterling safety record since its introduction in the 1990s. I would have hoped that Boeing management wouldn't jeopardize that.

Another hole in Boeing's reputation. Bring back engineers to oversee the manufacturing, not fast track suits and bean counters.
