Firefox opts for Google as default search in U.S., surprising Yahoo

Surprised that still people use Yahoo as a search engine. Their search results suck comparing to Google. Unless you are in China where Google does not work so then you need to use Bing, another crappy search engine.

Yahoo is shocked that Google, the number 1 search-engine for over a decade has taken their search engine contract. Optimistic much?

I used to use Yahoo when I first set up my yahoo email address, which I still use. But nowadays, I rarely use Yahoo's search engine. It just can't compare with Google. However, I hardy ever use Google search engine at work because I am logged onto my gmail account for email, and I just don't want my search history recorded. In that case, I would use something like DuckDuckGo or Privatelee.

Perhaps DuckDuckGo would have been a better choice for FireFox, rather than the new Evil Corp - Google.
