This is a HUGE deal and I am giving Amazon notice that my FireTVstick and FireTVbox are FIRED effective January 1, 2018. Time to research new streaming devices.

Amazon probably needs to buy Vimeo or something and see how far the feud can go. You Tube is so meh already.

Yep, Folks THIS is a perfect example of ABUSE by large companies that control important aspects of the internet, that they will publically SCREW each other ALSO means at the ""right"" time these SAME companies will come for the people & SCREW them too!!

It is already happening folks & its going to get worse ! And to top it off ALL these companies scam worldwide to avoid paying their fair share of taxes in countries the REAP huge profits.

Looks like Govt is going to have to start taking these companies down a few notches!

But that will also be problematic! The digital future is not a place I want to live in!

If I need to have 3 different devices to watch all the streaming content out there, I'm just going to ditch all their devices and subscriptions and go to the library where everything is free.

These corporations can shove it. I still haven't seen a single episode of Game of Thrones, and I'm doing just fine. Unplug your junk, and get a hobby or something...

Had a notice about this show up on my TV this morning when I opened YouTube on my Fire TV Stick.

I'll be ditching the Amazon stick if they don't fix this by January 1st.

I use a workaround that puts Google Play Store in Amazon Fire tablets. With a launcher, you end up with a very cheap Android tablet with a clean interface and no Amazon only stuff on it.

I hope these changes do not affect my setup.

Amazon said in a statement, "Google is setting a disappointing precedent by selectively blocking customer access to an open website."

The break has been a long time coming. Amazon kicked the Chromecast, Google's television player, off its retail website in 2015, along with Apple Inc's TV player.

pot calling kettle black?

You Tube is so meh already.

Nope! No, it isn't. YouTube is still the best video website and has the most viewers.

Since you cannot cast prime video to Chromecast, i think this is only fair?
