Son of Softbank is known as a shrewd speculator using excessive profits earned from Japanese consumers in his mobile phone business. Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said that mobile phone rates should be cut by some 40 pct, warning major carriers not to make "excessive" profits. Suga further said, "They should not gain excessive profits since they do business using radio waves, a national asset."

Softbank is a very dodgy operation, it seems to be. It gets its $$$ from a lucrative domestic monopoly and investment funds from the Saudis, who got their money from a liquid that nature placed under their feet.

It wouldnt surprise me if Son's whole empire came crashing down.

Great for him to cancel. I'm sure others will follow.

Well in theory all the investments Softbank made, ARM processors, robotics, AI, etc etc are beyond 50 % owned by the royals...
