Modern vehicles are sucking up all sorts of data and sending that data somewhere. Chinese tech will send the data to China, where the CCP can mind it for all sorts of information.

China has been attacking the USA over the internet for 15 yrs and the outgoing FBI director says China's cyber warfare has prepositioned breaches in other US infrastructure (oil/gas/power/water), so we don't need them in our vehicles too. The FBI director also says that China's cyber warrior numbers are greater than all the cyberwarriors for every other country in the world combined. Not a week passes where Chinese-sponsored attackers aren't caught breaking into a company or govt department in the USA. This has been going on for decades now, even after agreements have been signed by Presidents of both countries.

What we know is not to trust China, since their leaders say 1 thing, but always do something nefarious instead. Always.
