It's ok. Tipper Gore is still around, right? And Fred Thompson?

As a practical matter, I agree with the guy, but I am not sure I agree in principle.

"The father of three grown children takes a low-key approach and says he’s never endorsed censorship."

How can you restrict ideas based on very flimsy scientific evidence and not call it censorship? This guy did some good work, but ultimately, if he had assumed the power to make or break games, the world would be the worse for it. This last commenter ---Kent--- probably hits the nail on the head. Walsh was loyal opposition and a victim of his own success. The only ones left are the zealots.

Entertainment will always win.

I agree with this. As an avid gamer, this guy kept to the facts and I believe just tried to get games restricted to targeted audiences. Hopefully, parents will review stuff before they buy stuff for their children. What I wish is for parents to have a camera or a voice recording machine to hear the crap that comes out of their childrens mouths when they are playing games they should not be playing.

Good riddance.

I think it's great that Walsh publicized the "Hot Coffee" mod for GTA San Andreas. I would have never known about it, otherwise, so I appreciate his efforts. It was another fun aspect to the GTA series.
