wait for any "security" patch, as currently everything on your computer goes to Microsoft. It can't be blocked. You can search for articles about Microsoft milking your personal data.

I wonder how much devices were unistalled afterwards.

Apparently even customizing the privacy settings doesn't work. Some info still goes back to MS.

Window 7 did not let MS's own QB 64 used software to be compiled. I received Window 10 free MS have been distributing free in USA and I was skeptical but it now compiles even old programs created under OS system.
