A fad, a pointless gimmick, and a massive legal banana skin. Governments love bilking GAFA for free cash. These AI chatbots will keep that revenue flowing.
GAFA should be concentrating on moving to a distributed, resilient topology, not wasting cash on the metaverse, 'AI' or whatever else their founders fixate upon.
