As WikiLeaks fell behind on its promised release of a new tranche of 15,000 U.S. intelligence reports, one former group spokesman was quoted this week as saying that the organization was becoming consumed by its confrontation with the Pentagon.

Well, he wanted to be chief-nemesis and now he's complaining? LoL

As far as I would want the net to be neutral, and non-partisanship assured, surely Mr Julian ASSANGE is well-aware of the consequences of his actions.

He accused the Wall Street Journal of participating in what he described as a “scam” to discredit WikiLeaks by publicizing the details of its e-mail exchanges with human rights groups, which reportedly expressed disquiet over the naming of informants in the Afghanistan intelligence reports it posted to the web.

LoL HuffPost, wired, and WSJ attacked all at the same time. WTH have you been up to Mr ASSANGE?!

Assange has lost it. He doesn't trust his colleagues, seeks full control of everything and, ironically, gets upset when people leak information about him. He had a good cause, but his megalomania is his downfall.

Here's an exchange btwn him and Domscheit-Berg:

Assange: How many people are represented by these private chats? And what are there positions in the CCC?

Domscheit-Berg: people in the CCC know about 2007

Domscheit-Berg: go figure

Domscheit-Berg: i dont even wanna think about how many people that used to respect you told me that they feel disappointed by your reactions

Domscheit-Berg: i tried to tell you all this, but in all your hybris you dont even care

Domscheit-Berg: so i dont care anymore either

Domscheit-Berg: other than that, i had questions first, and i need answers

Domscheit-Berg: like what agreements we have made

Domscheit-Berg: i need to understand this so we can continue working

Domscheit-Berg: you keep stalling other peoples work

Assange: How many people are represented by these private chats? And what are there positions in the CCC?

Domscheit-Berg: start answering my questions j

Assange: This is not a quid-pro-quo.

Assange: Are you refusing to answer?

Domscheit-Berg: i have already told you again that i dont see why i should answer to you anymore just because you want answers, but on the same hand refuse to answer anything i am asking

Domscheit-Berg: i am not a dog you can contain the way you want to j

Assange: I am investigation a serious security breach. Are you refusing to answer?

Domscheit-Berg: i am investigating a serious breach in trust. are you refusing to answer?

Assange: No you are not. I initiated this conversation. Answer the question please.

Domscheit-Berg: i initiated it

Domscheit-Berg: if you look above

Domscheit-Berg: twice already

Domscheit-Berg: i want to know what the agreements are in respect to iraq

Assange: That is a procedural issue. Don’t play games with me.

Domscheit-Berg: stop shooting at messengers

Assange: I’ve had it.

Domscheit-Berg: likewise, and that doesnt go just for me

Assange: If you do not answer the question, you will be removed.

Domscheit-Berg: you are not anyones king or god

Domscheit-Berg: and you’re not even fulfilling your role as a leader right now

Domscheit-Berg: a leader communicates and cultivates trust in himself

Domscheit-Berg: you are doing the exact opposite

Domscheit-Berg: you behave like some kind of emporer or slave trader

Assange: You are suspended for one month, effective immediately.

Assange's conscience is torturing him. He knows he has the blood of countless innocents on his hands.

I wouldn't go as far as your assessment-- what's certain though is that the wikiLeaks would have been a logistic and intel nightmare for the Coalition.

Assange has lost it. He doesn't trust his colleagues, seeks full control of everything and, ironically, gets upset when people leak information about him. He had a good cause, but his megalomania is his downfall.

Someone conjure a script or a play now. The tragi-comedy wikiLeaks plot will be The Social Network for the discerning, grown-ups.

I wonder if they allow WikiLeaks in Big Brother country CHINA to say funny things, secrets etc...about the communist regime in Beijing??

@MisterCreosote - and yet the US millitary and political leadership sleep ok at night do they?

@m5c32

thanks for the transcript, that pretty much covers it. Assange is not a team player and has lost it. Who would work with such a dolt? More people are going to leave. The wikileaks idea however is now out there and while this group may fade away the idea will not and it may be tried again

I think Wikleaks is a good thing, as it is a place where information that has been kept secret can be given to anyone and everyone.

But.

Some secrets are kept secret for a reason. It's called National Security. If it puts peoples lives in danger- don't expose it. I would have thought that common sense.

If they're going to tell us who killed JFK or something like that, fine. That would be a good read. But, US/UK or anywheres military secrets, are military secrets.

There's a ton of reasons why we shouldn't know about them.

I'm sure for the savvy Chinese everything is possible. For the savvy geeks over the world anything is possible even with state-sanctioned web censorship.

True, but you can easily conjure something that may well be inaccurate or worse doctored to dupe people.
