Good, finding ways and products to decarbonise and trap emissions is one of a multi pronged approach needed to deal with the problem. No one thing will be the magical solution but many actions, some large and some small (like the small changes we all as individuals can make) will combine to overall greater effect.

Hope it doesn't get hindered by capitalism, cause costs of the new concrete alone will affect choices. It isn't the first time better concrete have been developed but the initial costs is a major roadblock.

How much CO2 should they plan to get rid of? And at what cost?

Good news. It's good to hear more of the mindset of "market solutions" or "using technology and innovation to solve real-world problems" instead of the rather lame "stop doing X, even if you don't want to", "let's tax Y to death" or "ham-fisted punitive government actions alone will save the world from Z".

Because more often than not, it's non-governmental market solutions that are the most effective and efficient.
