The Japanese were already doing this about 20 years ago with Sony Aibo.
Nice to know the china-nese have finally caught up with Japanese tech. Albeit with lower quality products.

You know, given how paranoid the ccp is about its own people, I wouldn't be surprised if they use these 'AI Pets' to spy own their own people.
Wouldn't be surprised also if china-nese employers ( esp government employers) have access to what these AI Spybots have recorded & these employers refuse to hire those that they deemed to be emotionally unstable.

23/1/2020 - 25/1/2023 was the Chinese lockdown period, so I'm not exaggerating.
Normal citizens in all countries need to hold their govts accountable for actions like this.
