Only a downvote? I really would like an answer. Why would anyone who is not Chinese be more worried about being spied on by the CCP than by their own government? I don't get it.

The answer is so painfully obvious. I'm not even going to bother. What is happening to our youth...

Well, that's a shame. I was rhetorically winning that one. Let's talk about Huawei instead....

Yeah. Sure.

Anyone is welcome to collect my data as long as they don’t get My Number

Well, if you are an American (or UK, Canadian, Australian, etc.), the data collected by the US can be used against you. What can the CCP do to you?

I expect the real problem with Zoom is that it's Chinese, and not feeding all of its users' data to US government agencies. They will be forced to comply or pushed out of business in the West.

So it's feeding all of it's users data to the CCP. That's supposed to be better how?

Video conferencing app Zoom, which has seen its popularity skyrocket in the coronavirus pandemic, is in hot water after users complained to the FBI of being startled by porn during meetings.

Yeah, right. Because the normal thing to do when unexpected porn pops up is to call the FBI.

I expect the real problem with Zoom is that it's Chinese, and not feeding all of its users' data to US government agencies. They will be forced to comply or pushed out of business in the West.
