'The Games' is such a wonderfully uplifting testament to all that's best in humans.... but we have to make sure they're not cheating. sad! past it's use-by date, my view.

we have to target the right athletes, the right sports

This translates to the Russians (however they are entering the Olympics) and the weight lifters, and probably not the 50km race walkers or the archery contestants.

Not just the Russians, you should watch some of the interviews with Victor Conte, the boss of Balco labs that helped doping of so many US athletes. He knows more than most on this subject. According to him the over half of track and field athletes are using. He singled out the Jamaican anti doping controls as some of the weakest.
