But, they didn’t use Naomi Osaka’s entire 5/15 quote, siding with Japan’s continued :
Yet, they keep trying to ‘spin’ that she’s equally concerned with the likes of Kei Nishikori and Hideki Matsuyama:
She will continue to ‘straddle the center-line’ until the last possible moment.

Why didn’t they quote Kei Nishikori again from May 15? Like Hideki Matsuyama, Nishikori openly questions Japan:

Tokyo Olympic Pres Seiko Hashimoto’s taking it personally:
While Hideki Matsuyama is thinking of the greater whole of the country:

You know what is not fair? Reserving hospital beds and medical staff for Olympians during a pandemic, when Japan's medical system is already at a breaking point.
When the government and the IOC refuse to do the right thing, it's up to athletes to do the right thing.
YeahRight
If athletes refuse to come there won't be any Olympics. I say keep the pressure on to call on them to refuse to perform and for cancellation. If that angers Hashimoto, well, there's plenty of anger pointed towards her and all the others denying the Japanese people what they want, a cancellation.

For some sports like football, The Olympics is not top priority or ultimate career goals. The diversity of sport events and performance opportunities is significant to individual athletes, sport culture as well as public heath. The Olympic model, one city for intensive weeks but once in every 4 year, may already be outdated.

She really has no credibility, pretending to have given up her US citizenship while continuing to receive big bucks from Japanese sponsors. Apart from maybe one or two retweets, she seems surprisingly apathetic when it comes to anti-Asian feelings in her 'host' country.

In my life and career I had the privilege and honour to represent real champions. They never “ wait and See”. They go for it. Nishikori and Matsuyama have taken a very clear stand for Japanese athletes.
They must be recommended.

You notice how this word 'stakeholders' is popping up in these columns in the past few days? So Bach addresses the stakeholders with:
"We have an obligation...to all of those involved, to do our utmost to make these games safe and secure, so that (they)...can indeed be the light at the end of the tunnel."
And there you have it. He has no obligation to us little people, because as far as the IOC's concerned, we're not involved; the only 'stake' we hold is to live here and pay taxes, on the Games site. Turns out the only stake we will be left holding is the sh!tty end of the stick once the Olympics have passed through here and done a dump on us.
Or if you want another metaphor, the Games are not the light at the end of the tunnel - they are the tunnel we are now being driven into by this trainwreck government.

The Covid Games MUST be STOPPED!!!!!

The IOC states, that Athletes attend the Tokyo Games at their own Risk... thus absolveing the IOC of any claims should said Athletes become infected.
So much for the "Safe" Olympics.
Safe for the IOC.... yes, legally... but not safe for the rest of us.... Wake up JAPAN ... if it smells like sht, and it looks like sht, then it probably is a whole load of sh*t coming your way. Forget your Aegis, focus on the people you have now.

I would employ people here, to really, seriously look at the Wording of the IOC's playbook for this event.
And ask yourselves... well, your own questions.

Big fan of Naomi the tennis player.
When she chose Japanese nationality over US nationality, she quickly grasped the duties required of that role.

Poster makes fake claims of statements never made by Osaka, then claims that these claims she never made give her a lack of crediblity.
Seems legit. Carry on.
