I agree, it's too soon and should simply not go ahead as the world has serious problems to deal with right now. Countries must come together to make life for everyone healthier. Covid-19 will still be around next summer and that, is why it should be canceled completely.

Sadly, it is a very tight time frame for the entire world to recover, with the virus under control and/or a vaccine rolled out everywhere.

There can be no mass gatherings until a vaccine is found; sport, cinemas, concerts, theatres etc will be the last areas to have restrictions lifted. A very optimistic timeline for a vaccine available to all is 18 months at the very least. If the Games do go ahead, it will be a very slimmed down version. Don’t repeat the recent, damaging farce of postponing the Olympics.

We need to see peer reviewed studies that Hydroxychloroquine has been proven to be effective in treating Covid-19. Can you please cite a few?

@Serrano. I agree 100%. Ban China from the next summer Olympics and take the 2022 Games away from Beijing. The communist government must be punished in every way possible for covering this up.
