Not only that, but I'm sure he will arrive at the VIP terminal which is well shielded from the plebs.
where the finest foods and other "perks" will be delivered to his suite.

I feel like there must be a typo there somewhere, he is arriving on July 9th and quarantining until the 12th? What is the point of a three day quarantine?
shogun36
Please tell us the exact time, airlines and gate number. Hopefully there will be an angry mob waiting.

So, the law is a 3 day quarantine in Japan is it?
It was 6 not so long ago.
Or is that only for VIPs?

Will the “crowds” pictured in these other articles be waiting for him?
Or, will he be limo’ed away upon arrival?
Boku Dayo
The locals should welcome him with torches and pitchforks.

Wouldn't it be nice if, when this person arrives off his first-class flight, he's greeted at the arrivals lounge by a chorus of boos from angry taxpayers, to follow him every step of the way to his taxpayer-funded limo, and whichever luxury hotel we're paying to indulge him in every luxury known to man has a back-up chorus waiting to boo him into his suite?

This guy is not welcome to a country going through a global pandemic. Of course, he will be treated like a VIP and driven to a luxury hotel. What is the purpose of his visit anyway. Publicity? More money on his bank account? The IOC is a circus run by clowns like Bach, Coates, and other elites.

Expect a local welcome.

You can do a lot of bribe-taking and PR damage control in three days.

Derek..... if he gave a stuff about anything outside his fiefdom, he wouldn't even be here because the 5-ringed-circus wouldn't be happening. in any case, like others, he'll just assume that people don't understand and only need to have it all explained to them some more.
thaonephil
I hope he gets the welcome he deserves.

Why? Bach has to arrive in person to insist the Japan people a Government do Bach bidding, could arrest him at the airport.
Please excuse my English wit, sense of humor.
I have never completely worked out what part of me is either English or Japanese. top or bottom, arms or legs, head or shoulders, feet or hands.

3 day quarantine?
ZPS
Wasn't quarantine supposed to be 14 days? What happened to that?

To be absolutely clear: no one here is literally endorsing any type of inappropriate or illegal physicality, many however are figuratively encouraging Japanese ‘Tax-payers’ to continue to read, write and loudly express theirselves to demonstrate their dissatisfaction to Mr. Bach when he comes to visit ‘the realm’.
