No-Vax Olympians will be accepted easily to enter Japan then foreign resident that already being vaccinatted.

So we will allow anti-vaxxers into the country for a special 3-day quarantine, to mingle and disperse the virus at will if they have the Olympics talisman around their neck, but Japanese taxpayers can't enjoy a beer after 7pm, or even watch the events we have mortgaged our grandchildren's future for?
Yeah, that sounds safe and secure to me.
Shame on anyone involved in this heist.

So, even if we live and work here, have paid taxes for decades, and have been vaccinated (I haven't yet, but will be at some point), in the near future even WITH the vaccination we'll have a mandatory 14 day quarantine Japan itself demands to be exempt from in other countries, and this guy is allowed in no problem without any vaccination?
Sounds about right. TIJ

A smart Olympian, that is. I will never either.

The officials will try to bully you into getting a vaccine. Stand your ground! Your example is commendable!

I can sort of see where he is comming from, some people have had nasty side effects from the vaccine, some of my friends have said that they felt pretty bad for a few days, so he should have had his vaccine as soon as it was available, ie months ago, this way he would be vaccinated, and any side effects he would have gotten over by now.

Watch out for that Dihydrogen Monoxide and Sodium Chloride they try to force on you.
Some dude
Dihydrogen Monoxide
My mate on Facebook said that stuff is everywhere and that everyone who ingests it will one day die!

He may need to quarantine, and if he tests Covid-positive, he's out of the Olympics
He'll have to be extra careful social distancing (wear masks, stay away from groups) - even more careful than others

Good on him.

Smart move.
He is going to be tested for covid many times, as will the other athletes he will come in contact with. And he will be in a bubble in Japan.
I would naturally encourage him to get the vaccine upon returning to the US, but in this instance it makes perfect sense.
A young, low-risk Olympic athlete--it is worth the risk to him.
USA!

It is surely a privilege to attend during these times, so the least every attending Olympian should do is Vax, even if only as an act of respect to the people of the host country?
But Vreth probably said it best with,
"Chemical free... just steroids, HGH, protein powders, creatine and god knows what else for these elite chosen ones."
Brilliant summary Vreth.
