All of the leaders mentioned in the article ( and those not mentioned)

Not mentioned? Like Trump? Pompeo?

Been reading about this for weeks. If they were part of the Trump train it would have been immediately reported and sent out to the connected news apparatchiks. Since they’re all Dem’s, well, you know.

And a perfect example is provided

So let me get this straight. For some of you it is worse that the governor of California went out once to a French restaurant breaking the rules he stated, versus a president and many of his henchmen who actively promoted events where the virus could and probably was spread? And you call the Dems hypocrites?

@MarkX

I detest Trump - totally. Probably the least competent President ever.

But wow. Someone actually wrote about this!!!! Amazing. Yes these politicians are total and complete hypocrites. As someone born in California I find Newsom to be disgusting (and I am a Democrat).

Back to back dinners at the Laundry by Breed and Newsom - As an old dude it is remnants of the USSR and the dachas

They're politicians. So their main job is to tell other people what to do while they spend their monies...

@rdemers - seems that way.

Californians are now being ruled. Not governed

At this current rate, California or even NYC might go Red, keep pushing it, keep pushing it.

@Bass - if that is the case they will be RULED (not governed) by a different color political party.

Coke/Pepsi, Ford/Chevy, Red/Blue.......they are all the same on the inside....just look different on the outside.

Oh I see, post the political party of one politician but not the rest of them. Let me check.......Yep, all democrats.

it is rumored that some of the politicians and the American wealthiest have access to drugs that are very effective against COVID19 while this is kept away from the public knowledge. They can take a chance since they are sure to get cured quickly.

Hmmmm....and the winner for best undermining during the pandemic.....

Donald Trump for retweeting; "Wearing a mask is Anti-American and is a symbol of slavery"....

“People hate hypocrisy,” says Daniel Effron, an associate professor of organizational behavior at London Business School. “They’ll condemn the same moral failing much more harshly from someone who’s been preaching a different standard.”

Boy, is that true - tell it to the guy that just lost the election who;

Ranted against illegal immigrants...but employed them at his properties...

Said China is an unfair trader and steals US jobs...but gets most of is Trump Collection clothing line made in Chinese sweatshop factories...

Screamed mail-in voting is nothing but fraud.....then mailed his and his wife's ballot in...

Yelled "Stop the Steal"....then conned his supporters out of $250 million to pay off his personal loans...

No Nobel, but he certainly wins a "Hippy"...

I hate this kind of hypocrisy, and these Democratic leaders should be ashamed of themselves.

But you know what I hate even more? Leaders who encourage and host superspreader events. Leaders who tell people NOT to wear masks, social distance, or take the virus seriously.

So sure, Republicans are less hypocritical, but their macho political posturing has caused a lot more death.

But over 75,000,000 voted for the biggest one yet!

@PTownsend: Vote out those pols who've ignored the rules and advice.

Sounds good - that would eviscerate the Democrat party.

This is what the Democrats have been looking forward to for decades. Demography as destiny. Old white people killed off by the virus and replaced by younger non-white Socialists. The celebrations on the Left must be off the hook right now. Cuomo did his best to rush this along by forcing those old mostly white elderly hospital patients back into this rest homes where the spread was devastating and deadly. The fundamental transformation is off to a good start.
