In the US so far 535,000 deaths, nearly 30,000,000 sickened, an economy in shambles (for all but the richest). The above quote typical of the compassion-free far right.
It has all been pre-determined: American fundamentalist 'reasoning' at its worst. No wonder it was so easy for Biden's predecessor to be seen as messianic (and a trifle satanic), and for him and his media to manipulate such a large portion of the US.

I know that public health professionals say we have to deal with vaccination reluctance with empathy, but goobers like this sure do make it a challenge.

Luntz has always great focus groups. Makes sense to me. I don’t trust or let’s say, I’m more cautious and will take a let’s see approach to the vaccine first before deciding to let some doctor jam a needle in my arm. That decision is up to the individual and they can make the decision without the Federal government telling them what to do. There are thousands of people that have fallen ill to this deadly virus and those that are in the category of catching this horrible virus should get vaccinated as soon as they can as well as anyone that needs it. Others that don’t want to shouldn’t be forced. And regardless who’s trying to promote the vaccine whether Trump or former President’s won’t help influence anyone that’s being doubtful or cautious.

I don't think you should take it bass. We lefties think it's a really good idea. That's got to make you suspicious. Don't you think anything this leftist is a little too risky?
I don't think you should take it.

Which will absolutely go nowhere especially with his rock star popularity, but the left can try. Bloomberg tried and he’s a billionaire, went well for him as well.
Jsapc
Why would his popularity have anything to do with him being investigated or not? Are you implying that rich and "popular" people should escape the law?
What on earth are you talking about? Bloomberg tried to investigate DeSantis for corruption?
bass4funk
they can investigate him all day long, they’re not gonna find anything on this guy unless he did some major crime. Anything else it’s just gonna be another witchhunt or a slap on the wrist
No, Bloomberg tried to buy the state and even with all his money he couldn’t influence that state and look I feel like this if liberals want to go and try to investigate him and do what they did to him to whether to trump it’s not gonna work, especially in that state, but they should go ahead, but I know what the result it’s going to be it’s not going to be to their political liking. :D

Another silly piece full of insinuation and plain misstatements.

The politicization of basic safety measures and health care is just another way for Trump and the far-right media hate machine to fleece their flock and pocket more money..."don't listen to the experts, get your health advice from someone who really knows; "Mr Pillow Guy" - and buy a pillow while you're at it...
Its just more of the black and white, bi-polar fantasy world they live in 24/7...where you get advice like;
"Don't believe in the COVID vaccine"...
"Pay no attention to those tornado sirens going off"...
"Head out on the lake and forget those life preservers"...
"Never sleep in a house with smoke detectors"
"Those things all limit your freedom and are just for Libs"....
Beyond crazy...

Trump's tactic: Using "Fear" to scare the people in desperated mood and come to seek his "Influences" to calm down the fear ! The Covid19 vaccine hesistancy has played well into his hands!

Look next door for the answers to how it should probably be done. Canada gives healthcare to all residents, and even some temporary foreign workers and international students.

It might give you AIDS. You shouldn't take it. Too leftist.

Death is death. Trump push to make sure a vaccine is available, it is now available and it has saved thousands and thousands of lives, but people are still dying people are still getting infected, It’s not about needlessly or not, the result is all the same if you have a negative prognosis.
As to Trump and all the more reason why he pushed so hard for this and Democrats said that it could not be done and yet he managed to push to get it through and now the vaccine is available to those that need or want it.
Few? Funny, you guys making making a fuss about people dying in Florida, compared to the overall number that I stated for the entire nation, so basically you’re saying for the entire nation the few people a day that was OK, but in Florida for the few people that died in that state that’s bad, huh? What? The point is people died, Biden said they wouldn’t it would stop and it’s not stopping. Stop sparring words now this is what Joe was claiming and I submit to you that it’s going to be a while before you start seeing thousands of these numbers drop off consistently.

Trump supporters refuse to take the vaccine, yet they are quick to commend Trump for creating them thru Operation Warp Speed....
As a result, they're more likely to be hospitalized - maybe in the ICU - with hundreds of thousands in medical bills - paid for by Obamacare...
And if they're unfortunate, like Herman Cain, and pass away - their funeral will likely be paid by Biden's $1400 stimulus...
Likely because they gave all their money away in contributions to Trump...
What a life, huh?
bass4funk
Depends on the person. They’re also liberals that are reluctant about the vaccine.
Yes, even Shumer begrudgingly had to give Trump credit on that.
Texas A&M Aggie
Considering how rushed all the vaccines came to market -- 9 months versus six years for the polio vaccine, for example -- no one should be blamed for not wanting to be forced to become a human guinea pig by Big Pharma and the U.S. government,

Thinking is not popular amongst donald's supporters.
Neither is simple mathematics!!!
Jsapc
If you think there have been no advancements in medical technology between 1955 (polio vaccine) and 2020 (corona vaccine), well... You're comically wrong.
Jsapc
The only thing Trump "pushed hard for" during his 4 years as president is for people around to commit fraud on his behalf. He wasn't interesting in any other aspect of governance.
ulysses
If it was left to donald, we'd be injecting bleach and sending lasers to where the sun dont shine.
The Vaccines might have been fast tracked but there has been testing.
Except the Russian and Chinese once though, they dont have the concept of testing over there.
virusrex
No such thing, not only we have much better technology, but actually the coronavirus vaccine has been in development since more than a decade now, all the way since the first SARS scare that made people realize how close we were of a real pandemic and began research focused on quickly and reliably identifying the best viral proteins to target with the immune defense and making and testing endless vaccine candidates with related coronaviruses so all the problems that could be identified could be ironed out before the real deal happened.
This led to a smooth and quick preclinical development for the lead vaccines, that got translated to quick and smooth clinical trials that proved the safety and efficacy of the vaccines without problem. You only want to see the year it took to produce the vaccines, but not the decade that took to develop them.
bass4funk
Everyone that I personally know so far that hasn’t taken the vaccine is doing just fine come to think of it.
Utter and ludicrous nonsense! Everyone says penicillin is safe, but I’m allergic to it, if I take it I would have serious complications breathing and possibly worse. So you really can’t say just because they tested a vaccine it’s OK for some people it is, but it’s still new, it was rushed and we just don’t know and even many scientists couldn’t guarantee that there would be no side effects.
lincolnman
Always helps to read the article first...
*While polls have found vaccine hesitancy falling overall, opposition among Republicans remains stubbornly strong. A new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that *42% of Republicans say they probably or definitely will not get the shot, compared with 17% of Democrats — a 25-point split.
But Trump supporters refuse to take the vaccine they give him credit for. Hmmmm....
ulysses
Says more about your social circle or the lack of it!!!
So should we ban penicillin because one person dubiously claims he is allergic to it!!
Utter and ludicrous nonsense.
Texas A&M Aggie
The Vaccines might have been fast tracked but there has been testing.
Then why has Germany, France, Italy and Spain now halted use of the AstraZenica vaccine because of a rise in blood clotting issues among people who have received it?
bass4funk
Yup and understanding the topic at hand: Vaccinations.
For reference they do. Why is it that the left just can’t accept that not everyone wants any part of this vaccine? It’s not that when you get angry or insult people that people are going to run to the nearest clinic and get vaccinated, that’s not going happen for some people.
if people want to get it, they get it, if they don’t, then they don’t, it’s that simple. If I were to catch the virus and some thing would happen to me, then that’s on me, not on a group of people not because of any particular political party, it was my decision.
Nothing Dubiously about it. Millions of people are allergic to penicillin and no of course not. But you’re making my point for me, we can have the vaccine, but that doesn’t mean everyone can take it, some people Ken and some people cannot
Jsapc
But when you infect other people who couldn't get vaccinated, or you and your unvaccinated friends develop a new variant stronger to the vaccine that starts the whole pandemic all over again, then it's not a matter of choice anymore, it's matter of criminal liability. This is what you stupendously fail to understand. In order for a pandemic to completely end, the virus has to be completely eradicated. And it can only be eradicated by a lot of vaccines or by a lot of deaths. You choose deaths.
bass4funk
Well, that’s one debatable Hypothetical hypothesis, but still that’s not going to make me or thousands of people that are worried about their own potential safety to take on this virus, so no argument is going to rectify that. In the end It’s all about self-preservation.
ulysses
Drugs have side effects and reactions, clinical trials are studying the same. There are rules for approvals and they have been followed.
However idiots using that as an excuse or lying about made up allergies should not mean vaccination should be stopped.
ulysses
Apparently donald is getting ready to make a PSA.
Might help him in the courts later on!!!
bass4funk
I would hope so!
If you have people that lie, that would be wrong, but so far I don’t know any person that has lied about their symptoms or allergic reactions to the vaccine
bass4funk
Huh? how so? It was the Democrats that taunted and told Trump it could never be done, even mini medical expert said it couldn’t be done, so much for that.
Still do.
ulysses
When people claim they might be allergic to a vaccine they haven't even taken, it is lying.
donald's supporters have proved time and time again they will make misleading and false claims about Covid and its treatment because they believe it suits their politics.
Their leader meanwhile has taken the vaccine, hidden the fact from everyone.
What a bunch!!!
