Yeah but out of 44 million Ukranians, 900 are Azov. Surely that's justification for bombing 10x that in civilians and flattening entire cities.

I hope the American munitions are available to them.

I am aware of these beautiful Ukrainian cities as they stand in peril. Wishing Ukraine every strength and resolve.

My heart goes out with all of the Ukrainian soldiers May God bless all the volunteers and the Ukrainian people.

Everywhere, Ukrainians including Russian speaking ones, are fighting Putin's invasion, to keep Ukraine sovereign and out of mad Vlad's hands.

Thousands of Russians protesting against the invasion inside Russia. The world condemning Russia and strangling its international economy in support of a free Ukraine.

Russia now attempting to cut Ukraine from coastal access and make it a land locked country. Regardless of where the forces are when fighting stops, all Ukraine territory must be returned, including Donbas, Crimea and all other Ukraine territory. Keep world sanctions on Russia until it complies and until Putin is no longer in power. The Russians can choose when the sanctions are cancelled, when they are ready to comply.

The world is being taught a lesson by Biden, Xi and Putin - Do not choose freedom and democracy, your country will be flatten. Instead pursue nukes, it's the only way to deter aggressors.

Sad...

Hoping and praying the brave Ukrainians can repel the invading fascist thugs from Odesa. Target their tanks and personnel carriers with Javelin missiles - blow them sky high.

@peter

yes, All land must be returned to Ukraine.

plus, Ukraine must be compensated for all the damage & destruction inflicted upon them by the Russian military.

Then, & only then, should the sanctions be lifted.

Mass murder by Vlad the Exterminator...

Thank goodness we don't have the mental midget in the WH anymore....even his own staff know how incompetent and dangerous he would be in a crisis like this;

Former president Donald Trump would not be “capable” of holding Ukraine peace talks in Moscow to stop the invasion, according to his own former national security adviser.

“He’s not capable of it,” John Bolton told The Palm Beach Post in a story Saturday when asked about Trump’s ability to successfully conduct a “peace-negotiating trip” to Moscow.

“This would require thinking through a policy and considering the pluses and minuses, the risks and costs involved. That’s just not what he does,” Bolton added.

A close Russian friend and colleague dropped this into my inbox, stating to fully contemplate the here and now one must step back and accept the then and there.

I have viewed this more times now than I can remember..

I fear this Russian government will not relent no matter what the cost.

Slaughtering, and an appetite for destruction. war run thought the regions veins of history

while Russians main focus is to gain control of the Crimea, Mariupol, Donetsk/ Luhansk land corridor & Azov sea access.

Say what? This is funny. The Russians already hold those areas and there is zero, ziltch, nada resistance from the local people. What do you think this means?

In the Berlin Blockade and Cuban Missile crisis, Russia back down when threatened by someone its own size, as bullies do. The West may need to make an ultimatum at some point.

Obviously untrue given that fighting continues in Mariupol. The Russian retreats elsewhere in the country suggests they don't have the stomach for it.

As one intercepted Russian military message went: "better to be a deserter than fertilizer".

Russia's humiliation in this war will need the removal of Putin to ease the pain.

what’s funny, is this -

A top Russian naval commander died near Mariupol,

His death was announced Sunday by Mikhail Razvozhayev, the pro-Russian governor of the Ukrainian city of Sevastopol

what do you think this means ?

Odessa is a Russian city in the Ukraine. It has a Russian speaking majority. That doesn't necessarily mean they want to break from Ukraine or support the Russian military action but there a lot of local anger to the current Ukrainian government and it anti Russia policies.

Mr. Kipling: "That doesn't necessarily mean they want to break from Ukraine or support the Russian military action but there a lot of local anger to the current Ukrainian government and it anti Russia policies."

And? You do know that people who were formally pro-Kremlin in Mariupol and other cities are now 100% anti-Russian with what Russia is doing to the nation, right? Don't tell me there are still people who think they are going to roll out the welcome mats for Russia's military. Putin has succeeded in turning any pro-Kremlin sentiment into anti-Russian sentiment.

Very certain it is a Ukraine city in Ukraine. Russia likes to claim many things that are not exactly Russian. Known as a famous resort city in Russia but it remains Ukrainian, and no matter how many speak Russian they are fortifying it against the Russian invasion right now and preparing to fight to keep it Ukraine. It seems their anger at Russia outweighs any purported anger against the Ukraine government. Those are the facts.

@richard

and where is Putin, while his young inexperienced soldiers are getting slaughtered !?

He’s hiding, scared, in one of his luxury bunkers !

The USA are prepared rightly to face down Putin's Russia, I support Joe Biden genuine emotional outburst.

Germany and France, through the own toxic self interest, spanning more than a decade are willing to burn Ukraine to the ground. and contend as appeasers, least the crocodile will eat us last.

Don't blame the EU, Germany and France are totally responsable.
