Repubs put THAT in your pipes & smoke it!!!

Oh yeah? If there's no evidence, then why am I crying like a little baby and whining all day? Checkmate, libz.

Repubs put THAT in your pipes & smoke it!!!

They are.

Trump needs to leave, but it was obvious when he lost, he wouldn't leave as he should...with grace and acknowledgement. It's the Republicans who are supporting his false claims that go against democracy which is actually the bigger problem. They're still going to be in Washington, after Trump gets kicked out.

They'll, as usual, move their goal posts, again, and say we believe in democracy and Trump was wrong, or maybe even admit the errors they have supported, but the problem is, they keep doing this, ubiquitously.

False narrative is not the answer, Republicans, but this is the soup you swim in, and the lines are so blurred, you don't know right from wrong.

14 ( +19 / -5 )

Everyone knew it. Both sides watched the election and reported no fraud. Die hard Trump fans hoped that there would be huge fraud found to explain the loss, but even they had a gut feeling there would be none to be found.

The longer this drags on with accusations but no mass fraud found the worse Republicans look, which is why many are now moving to support the peaceful transition to the president elect. Trump wanting it badly enough to make up issues that may help him falsely claim a second term is not enough. What is worse in my mind is that the White House appears so wrapped up in the election issues it is running on auto pilot with nobody actually running the country. Trump seems to be so focused on his loss and turning around a loss that he has no hope of doing, and the nation is leaderless. He needs to get past his loss and lead the nation until Jan 20 then hand it over in the best shape he possibly can. That he has no intention of doing so may damage the Republican party in the eyes of swing voters for many elections to come.

Anybody who thinks otherwise is delusional AND dangerous!

10 ( +14 / -4 )

Wow...

Meanwhile, an appellate court held up the elimination of ballots in PA.

And the Michigan State legislature wants an audit of the Michigan election.

You know what that means? Republican state legislatures are unwilling to certify the electors.

-26 ( +1 / -27 )

I'm afraid this will have no impact on our Trump supporting friends - they have been living a delusion since 2016...

They gave up their good judgment, belief in facts/science, and commitment to democracy and freedom- and signed on to a cult that only believes what the Dear Leader utters or tweets...no different than Kim Jong Un, Jim Jones, or Shoko Asahara...

There's a reason they all have pictures of Trump's head superimposed over Stallone's body - they no longer perceive reality...

14 ( +17 / -3 )

Republican state legislatures are unwilling to certify the electors

Is it because they're certifiable themselves?

13 ( +15 / -2 )

Well, how about that?

Not that it’ll change the tiny minds of the trump minority.

12 ( +15 / -3 )

They know that. We know that but it's Trump who don't know that.

Meanwhile, an appellate court held up the elimination of ballots in PA.

Small number of votes that were separated and not counted so the outcome of PA remains the same.

12 ( +15 / -3 )

@ego sum You know what that means? Republican state legislatures are unwilling to certify the electors.

Is this a mental projection based on what could happen in your country if you had free elections?

10 ( +12 / -2 )

The Democratic coup plotters thought they could get away with their treason

This is the kind of provocative online chatter that stokes the hatreds and violence.

There is no evidence of treason. Aside from Trump possibly putting the US in danger with his refusal to concede. Is that treason? It's certainly highly irresponsible...

10 ( +12 / -2 )

President Trump can then use the said violence to crack down on them as insurrectionists, which is what they are.

Always fascinating how allegedly religious folk can not only advocate, but condone, violence.

10 ( +12 / -2 )

A message to you, Rudi,

Stop your fooling around

Time you straightened right out

Better think of your future

Else you'll wind up in jail

with thanks to Dandy Livingstone.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Republicans are so far gone in the head now they will believe absolutely anything their cult leader tells them. Lock Trump up for threatening national security and trying to stir up civil unrest.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

trump was preparing the ground for his certain defeat and all his whining is just show.

He's supposed to be planning a new TV network to take on the 'disloyal' Fox.

I'll enjoy this battle between bad and badder, and wish bankruptcy on both!!!

10 ( +12 / -2 )

Well, here you have the final word from those official sounding organizations Umbrella something so we all agree. I know I do! Yes, I'm one of you so don't doubt my allegiance! And let me say also, that which everyone must agree, and also to condemn anyone who questions or disagrees with those who know all the true facts. We must all fight dis-information from Trump followers, and since we live so close the the Great China and the Glorious Leader Xi Jinping, we should give all our support and thanks to him.

-15 ( +0 / -15 )

Bureaucrats covering for bureaucracy.

“baseless claims, made baselessly without any basis.” is the common refrain.

doesn’t make it true no matter how many times it is said.

compare this bureaucrat statement covering his own hindquarters to what the Federal Election Commissioner said (hint: there was fraud)!

-19 ( +2 / -21 )

since we live so close the the Great China and the Glorious Leader Xi Jinping, we should give all our support and thanks to him.

Is this sarcasm or wumao words? Difficult to tell, sometimes.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Even Trump's lawyers in court admitted there has been no voter fraud.

12 ( +15 / -3 )

You really think so? Giuliani, the geriatric, erratic nut case is going to wreck the democrats and democracy? This is a man who thought he was holding a press conference at the Four Seasons Hotel and ended up outside a landscaping company with a sex shop and a crematorium on either side. This is the man spouting unfounded conspiracy stories which if you read the article above, are totally and completely unfounded. And you think this certifiable pensioner is going to wreck the democrats?

Indeed - the fiasco across from the porn shop was a new low for the former Mr Mayor - and that includes his liaison with the "15 year old" in the new Borat movie...

And it seems our Trump supporting friends keep forgetting Rudy is under criminal investigation by Barr's own DOJ - for illegally representing a foreign government and campaign finance violations - and his two cronies - Parnas and Fruman have been already arrested...

https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/charges-giuliani-associates-parnas-fruman/story?id=73072053

Rudy is likely to be the next Trump associate to join Manafort at Rikers Island...the first of many after Jan 20th...

10 ( +12 / -2 )

the focus is still on counting the ballots they have,

Not figuring out that some of the ballots they have are illegal.

Thats how they can say no fraud, they count once and its 100. They count again and its 100. see? no fraud!

But what happens when an audit is done and 5 that counted were late, 5 were dead people, 10 were ballot harvested from a nursing home, etc. Biden will be the most affected when these are thrown out as his whole "win" is based on mail in.

The rate of absentee ballots declared invalid was around 4% in the primaries.

general Election, like 0.03%- because Dems filed lawsuits after that to get all ballots accepted as valid even when the signature doesnt match or the person is dead or it was received later than the legal cutoff date.

-22 ( +2 / -24 )

Georgia:

In 2018, when 230,000 absentee ballots were cast, 3.5% were rejected for signature mismatches or other reasons. In 2020, when more than 1.2 million absentee ballots were cast, the rejection rate fell to 0.3%. Did the massive increase in ballots overwhelm the verification process?

-19 ( +2 / -21 )

So, it is clear: no fraud, no miscounting, no abuse, nothing corrupt, nothing changed, nothing!

And even if (I say again IF) there were minor discrepancies (0.0..%), it wouldn't change the final result.

Trump is out, Biden is in!

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Trump will be gone soon enough. My only concern is that he will do as much damage as possible before he is booted out, just out of deranged spite.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

BlacklabelToday  11:52 am JST

compare this bureaucrat statement covering his own hindquarters to what the Federal Election Commissioner said (hint: there was fraud)!

What, you mean this:

"I do believe there is fraud in these places -- if the law is not followed it makes this an illegitimate election."

It's a bit equivocal, isn't it, what with the "I do believe..." and the "*if **the law is not followed...*" bits. Anyway, that's pretty much what we'd expect of someone appointed by a President who declared himself the winner of the election long before anyone else.

Even Karl Rove is telling the King he has no clothes....and Karl had a hissy fit in 2012 when Obama won...

*Karl Rove, the architect of former President George W. Bush's gubernatorial and presidential campaigns, acknowledged Wednesday that the 2020 presidential election will not be overturned regardless of the flurry of lawsuits from President Donald Trump challenging the results. *His efforts "are unlikely to move a single state from Mr. Biden's column, and certainly they're not enough to change the final outcome."

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/11/11/politics/karl-rove-2020-election-biden-trump/index.html

BINGO Karl...

8 ( +9 / -1 )

But what happens when an audit is done and 5 that counted were late, 5 were dead people, 10 were ballot harvested from a nursing home, etc. Biden will be the most affected when these are thrown out as his whole "win" is based on mail in.

How does this not violate the brand new policy of "don't make accusations of voter fraud"? I don't recall seeing a "unless you are a far-right whackjob" being appended to this new rule.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

The "voter fraud" claims are just Trump's way of staying in the news and to show his supporters he'll fight for them. Trump might also run in 2024 and so this is also a way of fundraising and paying off campaign debt. Basically, its a scam and so will the next 4+ years of rallies and possibly a TV Network to rival Fox News. Its actually a brilliant plan. Americans, get ready to see MORE of Trump.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Of course there’s no evidence. Biden received 5,000,000 more votes than Trump. To think otherwise is delusional.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

U.S. election officials are using reason and evidence to argue their case.

What makes them think that's going to work with Trump and his minions? Never has before.

Hard to know what's going to get through to the irrational and the manipulated.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Which is exactly what so many have said about Trump's stream of baseless claims about numerous issues over the past four years. More and more Republicans and Trump allies are calling on him to go quietly into the night., including Trump donors.

It's done, you really have to face up to that and accept it or else it will be a long 4 years....maybe 8...maybe longer for you.

Blacklabel

doesn’t make it true no matter how many times it is said.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

@Blacklabel

Trump doesn't really believe he won. What's sad is that he never believed he can win from the beginning, that's why he ordered his flocks not to mail-in their ballots and later cry fraud. If you don't see this plan of his, then we can't talk to you anymore.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

In 2018, when 230,000 absentee ballots were cast, 3.5% were rejected for signature mismatches or other reasons. In 2020, when more than 1.2 million absentee ballots were cast, the rejection rate fell to 0.3%. Did the massive increase in ballots overwhelm the verification process?

No.

Sorry to destroy your narratived.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Unfortunately the losers don't want to admit their Dear Leader is a Dear Loser, because it would expose them as being losers for supporting a loser.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

*Karl Rove, the architect of former President George W. Rove also talked about this at length before.

Following last week’s elections, Democrats will retain control the House of Representatives. At the same time, their margin will be considerably smaller than it was in the preceding Congress. Republicans will likely hold between 208 and 212 House seats, placing them within shouting distance of the majority in the next election.

This is first in a two-part examination of the relationship between redistricting/reapportionment and the Congress that will take office in January 2023. It concludes that without any extreme gerrymandering, reapportionment and redistricting alone will likely cost Democrats their majority, even before taking into account the national mood or the general tendency toward midterm losses for the party holding the presidency. Of course, litigation may change the calculus, but absent court losses in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia and Florida, Republicans would likely control the House in the 118th Congress elected in 2022.

Yup!

From a conversation between a judge and Trump lawyer:

Judge : “Are your observers in the counting room?”

Trump lawyer: "There's a non-zero number of people in the room.”

Also, another conversation between a judge and Trump lawyer:

THE COURT: Are you claiming that there is any fraud in connection with these 592 disputed ballots?

GOLDSTEIN: To my knowledge at present, no.

THE COURT: Are you claiming that there is any undue or improper influence upon the elector with respect to these 592 ballots?

GOLDSTEIN: To my knowledge at present, no.

Pretty hilarious stuff.

Biden's lead in Michigan: nearly 150,000.

Biden's lead in Wisconsin: over 20,000.

Biden's lead in Pennsylvania: over 60,000.

Biden's lead in Nevada: over 35,000.

Biden's lead in Georgia: about 15,000.

Seems pretty decisive numbers to me. A few hundred irregularities aren't going to do much.

The hypocrisy lies in the fact that Trump is only going after the states that he lost in. What about North Carolina? Or how about Alaska since it took them so long to count the votes? Those seem questionable as well. But hey, Trump only wants to go after states he lost in.

Also, it was mentioned that Trump's lawyers were complaining of 3,000 ballots of military families who voted in Nevada, but moved. Uh ... someone needs to tell Trump that that's what military families do sometimes; is move. It happens all the time, but I guess Mr. Bonespurs don't know a thing about the military.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Ah hour intrepid media! Always going to the source to find answers. Next thing they will ask Xi if there are concentration camps in China.

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

The hypocrisy lies in the fact that Trump is only going after the states that he lost in.

For obvious reasons, If Hillary or Biden lost the entire the West and East coast they would or should except it? Yeah, sure.

What about North Carolina? Or how about Alaska since it took them so long to count the votes?

Alaska is really not a place where liberals would like to live not to mention counters.

But hey, Trump only wants to go after states he lost in.

As he should, Gore did. and Hillary questioned the voting electors as well. Gore took 39 days before he conceded, Trump has time.
