The official line is that at least 58 people are dead or presumed dead but that the figure may rise further. The unofficial line is that there were over 500 people living in the tower block...

If politicians from the UK government, EU commission and parliament could tone down the disparaging, emotionally charged rhetoric. Divorce, when there was no connubial matrimony in the first place and Brexit, hard or soft, has all the overtones of a severe bowel malfunction. Seizing this history opportunity to construct and forge a more modern relationship for the benefit for all 28 member states, is within grasp.
The European Union, politically and economically needs a thorough overhaul, political reform and economic restructuring. This process of negotiation can be a positive step of /to renewal not withdrawal.
