Every lady is different, I'd imagine, post-childbirth, just like Catherine. She had help in the hospital, she'll have help at Kensington Palace, or Anmer Hall, with the third Royal sweetie-pie. She's also taking some months off to get-back-on-track if memory serves me right. I imagine she and William are happy the baby is here, and there were no complications. My best to the family!

As long as Charlie is not next, and a new second generation takes over...

She's got time for 3-4 more...

Nice to see an article with views representing many of us Brits who are not in favour of the monarchy.

A pleasant change.

Kate left the hospital 7 hours after giving birth, and in most Western countries, women leave hospital within a day or two after giving birth. Do any mothers know why, in Japan, mothers stay in hospital for sometimes 5 or 6 days after giving birth? Of course, Kate will have lots of help but I wonder why the hospital stay is so long in Japan. Is it to give mothers a little bit more time to rest before the rigor of child-rearing at home?

@smartacus - can you imagine the Security issue that she poses for staying in the Hospital longer ?

After feeling well enough to move afterwards, she can be whisked away to somewhere far more comfortable, and with the normal security that they are accustomed to without impacting other Women giving birth in that Hospital.

As I understand it, there's a bit of resentment against the Royals for having more than 2 Kids, as due to recent changes in the current Government's rules, only the 1st two Children for Common folk, are entitled to Child Support...

The Wine & Champagne is for the Husband only, and does not come with your own personal Security entourage. And if you're a member of the Royal Household, then trust me, this isn't really like home... I know for a fact given a close contact in the Palace ;-)
