Get ready for a big red map of the USA.

Wouldn't it be interesting if some compromising information about Biden's shady business dealings "emerged" in October.

Wouldn't that be interesting.

Get ready for a big red map of the USA.

Wouldn't it be interesting if some compromising information about Biden's shady business dealings "emerged" in October.

Wouldn't that be interesting.

You really think that there isn't any compromising info about Donny that may be released in October?

I'm sure your government has been working over time to dig up dirt on Donny's opponents and further divide my country.

3 ( +12 / -9 )

The Ukraine scandal might well have been a resigning matter for many previous Presidents, but Trump is so brazen that he does not even realise that he has done wrong.

So we begin another election campaign that he'll probably win, at which point he'll go even more power mad and make random policies that drive the USA into recession.

-6 ( +6 / -12 )

You really think that there isn't any compromising info about Donny that may be released in October?

with everyone always listening to his calls, probably not. Now they might try to dig in his past before he was President to find something on him.

I'm sure your government has been working over time to dig up dirt on Donny's opponents and further divide my country.

And that they most definitely had...are doing....

-2 ( +6 / -8 )

with everyone always listening to his calls, probably not.

Which is why he's going to become only the fourth president ever to be impeached.

Now they might try to dig in his past before he was President to find something on him

That's not necessary given his corruption whilst in office.

-1 ( +7 / -8 )

That is the story of the American economy Democrats want to tell over the next year. But the party is still struggling to figure out its own message to voters beyond contempt for Trump

That's the whole problem with the Democrats. They don't don't have anything except Orange man bad.

Well, that and higher taxes, open borders, free health care for illegals...

-1 ( +9 / -10 )

Serrano does expose a point that the Democratic Party needs to keep in mind, that hanging all their hats on impeachment won’t be the way to win. The Democrats also need to focus on a strong platform for the people, and be vocal about it.

The one-two punch of dealing with a corrupt wannabe dictator while proposing a strong platform is the key to winning the next election. It can’t be only one or the other.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

MAGA2020!

-3 ( +9 / -12 )

That's not necessary given his corruption whilst in office

All those Obama holdovers yup.

-2 ( +8 / -10 )

Which is why he's going to become only the fourth president ever to be impeached.

and won’t be removed.

-3 ( +7 / -10 )

We'll see if the House Democrats actually have the votes to impeach. They may never actually get around to holding the vote.

The Democrats also need to focus on a strong platform for the people

Well, they got the Green New Deal, abolish private health insurance, higher taxes to pay for Medicare For All which will suck for many, open borders, free health care for illegals, keep troops in Syria forever to protect the Kurds... hey, they should be a slam-dunk in 2020!

-5 ( +6 / -11 )

If illegal immigrants arrive in the country with contagious diseases isn't better to treat them than allowing the diseases to spread.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

For the United States of America, crazy is the new normal.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Divided because of two reasons; Putin and his Poodle Trump...and a minority of weak-minded Americans who fell for the Russian con-job...

Get ready for a big red map of the USA.

I'm sure Putin and Trump are working on that...

Wouldn't it be interesting if some compromising information about Biden's shady business dealings "emerged" in October.

Sure, and who would the quid-pro-quo be with this time, the Mullahs?

MAGA2020!

More pathetic, false bravado chest beating...

Come on Bolton, we're all waiting to hear about that Ukrainian "drug deal"....

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

with everyone always listening to his calls, probably not. Now they might try to dig in his past before he was President to find something on him.

No harm in that but the amount of corruption, cronyism, nepotism, obstruction and seeking foreign help on the elections is enough to be starting with.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

MAGA2020!

Perhaps you could elaborate as to what this actually means, because to the rest of us, at this stage, the slogan is seen as at the very least, a dog whistle. To me, it's the modern day equivalent of waving a fascist banner about.

As ever, look forward to your response, thanks.

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

No harm in that but the amount of corruption, cronyism, nepotism, obstruction and seeking foreign help on the elections is enough to be starting with.

Well, they can do that, but legally and constitutionally it won’t mean a can of beans, so if they still want to waste their time on digging up irrelevant artifacts, it’s still a free country. Lol

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

Trump has panned his political opponents as "human scum,"

And that was Trump talking about his internal Republican opponents. God knows what he calls the Democrats in private.

Serrano does expose a point that the Democratic Party needs to keep in mind, that hanging all their hats on impeachment won’t be the way to win. The Democrats also need to focus on a strong platform for the people, and be vocal about it.

Agree entirely. And that's what worries me about the 2020 election - that so far, I'm not convinced of the ability of the Dems to be able to do that.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

And the first to be re-elected overwhelmingly if he does get impeached.

Which is why he's going to become only the fourth president ever to be impeached.

-3 ( +5 / -8 )

MAGA2020!

Is an anti American slogan. Anti patriotic because those that support the slogan including Trump don't accept or believe America is great.

The same slogan was used by Trump for his campaign MAGA2016 so I guess in those four years he has failed to America great or drain the swampy. Did manage to play the most rounds of golf by any president in history.

He even cracked a poor joke his wife wouldn't even cry for hime if he was shot dead.

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

About the Ukraine flop, Pres. Trump purportedly said, "There were a lot of people around me and nobody told me anything. I didn't know."

Well, if this is true, which is highly doubtful, that's because Trump has gotten rid of all of the reasonably smart ones around him and replaced them with bullet headed right-wing yes men. At the same time, Trump can't pull this baloney anymore like he could before during his first year. To top it off, he denies that he said what he said as he has countless times before.

No two ways about it, Trump completely owns this one. He might not lose his job because of the GOP puppets in the Senate who're more interested in protecting their jobs than the U.S. Constitution, but history will not forget what Trump has done or what this Senate is about to do.

A vote against Trump is a vote against Putin. It time to kick them both out of the White House where they both don't belong.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

It’s ok really. This Ukraine thing and impeachment already fading to the background.

Liberals won’t get it done soon enough and not enough voters have bought into it being an actual problem.

I expect another pivot back to Russia and Mueller within the month. Dem primaries starting in February, “muh Russia” is a simpler message that has 3 years of history to use.

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

Jobs up and the American economy not impacted by the trade war with China. The US is the world leader even under Pres Trump, surprise surprise!

0 ( +7 / -7 )

Trump is a psychopath at this point.

3 ( +10 / -7 )

And the first to be re-elected overwhelmingly if he does get impeached.

Keep telling yourself that if it helps you sleep at night.

3 ( +8 / -5 )

I’m sleeping wonderfully. You guys are the ones trying to figure out how you can remove Trump without having to win an election. You know Biden or Warren can’t beat Trump. You should have pumped up Booker or Harris or Tulsi by now.

-1 ( +7 / -8 )

Keep telling yourself that if it helps you sleep at night.

Given the fact that his crowd sizes get bigger as well as his donations and factoring in that over 53% of key swing states don’t want him impeached, yeah, he could win by a landslide given the circumstances.

-3 ( +5 / -8 )

Chip Star - Which is why he's going to become only the fourth president ever to be impeached.

And yet President-wanna-be Pelosi still does not have the evidence she needs to actually start an impeachment.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

Toasted Heretic - because to the rest of us, at this stage, the slogan is seen as at the very least, a dog whistle. To me, it's the modern day equivalent of waving a fascist banner about.

Why is it that only Democrats, and Hillary worshippers, can hear these so-called dog whistles?

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

Is an anti American slogan. Anti patriotic because those that support the slogan including Trump don't accept or believe America is great.

Thank you, zichi.

I have wondered, because I've always been told that America is great but suddenly with Trump, it seems the same people were telling us that, in fact, America isn't great. And, despite 3 years of their inane PotUS being in power, it still isn't great.

Why is it that only Democrats, and Hillary worshippers, can hear these so-called dog whistles?

I don't know, arrestpaul. I'm neither a Democrat nor a Hillary worshipper. But I've noticed a correlation between the MAGA hats and the rise of bigotry. I see the slogan as un-American and offensive to America. But perhaps someone can explain to me why America isn't great and when did it stop being great.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

The election will be about one thing and one thing only.

Impeachment.

And Trump's going to emerge a winner, and Joe Six Pack likes nothing more than the hero who made it through the other team's line and scored a touchdown.

All the more so when Biden is left with egg on his face after shenanigans in Ukraine are "revealed" at just the right moment.

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

America became not great when we became apologists to the world and when everything in our society became governed by identity politics.our military was weakened and our foreign policy was weak as we just gave other countries money that was used to attack us.

people wearing MAGA hats are victims of violence many times more than the ones doing violence. That’s why Jussie had to add MAGA hat to his fake assault story. Because it rarely happens.

-3 ( +5 / -8 )

Blacklabel: people wearing MAGA hats are victims of violence many times more than the ones doing violence.

So, learn how to fight and you'll be OK.

0 ( +6 / -6 )

oh so now violence is acceptable to liberals.

Goal posts moving again. Yeah, learn to fight is the solution to liberal violence. Not for liberals to stop being violent.

-2 ( +5 / -7 )

SuperLib - So, learn how to fight and you'll be OK.

You are advocating violence as a means to an end.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

people wearing MAGA hats are victims of violence many times more than the ones doing violence.

You have statistics on that?

Come on, Trumpsters. You chose a corrupt, self-serving moron to be president. Don't let your hatred of liberals stand in the way of turning your backs on this charlatan.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

You chose a corrupt, self-serving moron to be president. Don't let your hatred of liberals stand in the way of turning your backs on this charlatan.

So your suggestion to choose a corrupt Washington establishment Republican or even worse a socialist corrupt Democrat?

-3 ( +5 / -8 )

1 year out: A divided nation lurches toward 2020 U.S. election

Is the USA divided? The headline would seem to suggest that all democratic nations are divided.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

arrestpaul:. You are advocating violence as a means to an end.

Huh? Telling someone to learn how to fight in case they get attacked is advocating violence? It's actually advocating self defense.

Blacklabel:. Yeah look at the 25 stitches and concussion this guy got. It’s laughable huh?

I don't need to see the pics. If he was wearing a MAGA hat, I'm assuming he got his arse handed to him. And no, it's not funny at all. People should not prey on the MAGAs.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

No point to give stats. Liberals are fine with anyone wearing a MAGA hat being attacked. Liberals are attacking minorities, women, old people, immigrants. Just for a hat. Same people who claim a trump tweet is “violence”.

google Juhangir Turan. Or Atsu Mable. I would say Andy Ngo but you think he deserved it too. So try these 2 people who didn’t.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

No? Then lose again. Suit yourself.

all those “moderate” Dems that won Trump districts claiming they would reach across the aisle and work with Trump? They aren’t winning again.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

So your suggestion to choose a corrupt Washington establishment Republican or even worse a socialist corrupt Democrat?

Clever retort.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Blacklabel:. Liberals are fine with anyone wearing a MAGA hat being attacked.

I don't think that's necessarily true.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

It's weird that the Republicans who clearly espouse violence, racism, bigotry and hatred would try to pretend that there is something wrong with the Democrats. Why do they hate so much? Why do they hate America so much?

0 ( +4 / -4 )

a socialist corrupt Democrat

OK. Assuming these people are "socialists", please tell me if Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, or Joe Biden have ever done the following:

--used the authority of an elected office to extort damaging information about a political opponent.

--used the office to which he/she was elected for personal profit through his/her properties at the expense of the taxpayer.

--refused to release past financial records and lied about the reasons for such refusal.

--appointed offspring and offspring's spouse to high level White House positions despite their lack of any relevant experience.

--lied while in office about paying off a pornstar to keep her quiet.

--used Twitter to threaten witnesses against him, and dangle pardons for those considering keeping mum.

--called the press "enemies of the people".

For starters. Looking forward to your response.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Strangerland - It's weird that the Republicans who clearly espouse violence, racism, bigotry and hatred would try to pretend that there is something wrong with the Democrats.

I don't believe that anyone is pretending that there is something wrong with Democrats.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

"It seems like Republicans and Democrats are intractable," said Mark Updegrove, a presidential historian and chairman of the Lyndon Baines Johnson Foundation. "They are both adhering to their own versions of reality, whether they're based in truth or not."

This "both sides" nonsense has to stop. There's nothing on the left even close to the Fox News-AM Talk Radio-Breitbart-Drudge right wing multiverse. Period.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

I don't believe that anyone is pretending that there is something wrong with Democrats.

If there's anything that can be said about the right wing bubble, it's that those inside are so clueless they don't even realize they're in a bubble.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

No point to give stats. Liberals are fine with anyone wearing a MAGA hat being attacked. Liberals are attacking minorities, women, old people, immigrants. Just for a hat

Yes, I can see why you wouldn't give stats for dubious statements like that.

I've yet to see liberals advocating violence, attacking mosques, murdering Jewish people in synagogues, burning black churches, sending bombs to prominent critics.

I will happily pour scorn over anyone wearing a MAGA hat.

America became not great when we became apologists to the world and when everything in our society became governed by identity politics.our military was weakened and our foreign policy was weak as we just gave other countries money that was used to attack us.

America has never apologized for bombing and invading countries, killing millions and undermining governments of other countries. Your society is governed by elitist criminals who care nothing about the people. It's all about lining their own pockets. It is a sick society that allows these criminals and death cults like the NRA to turn it into something less than "great".

people wearing MAGA hats are victims of violence many times more than the ones doing violence.

Default position of Trumpists, we're the victims.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

used the authority of an elected office to extort damaging information about a political opponent.

We don’t know that’s what Barr and Durham are investigating.

--used the office to which he/she was elected for personal profit through his/her properties at the expense of the taxpayer.

See above

--refused to release past financial records and lied about the reasons for such refusal.

We never had a politician or an outsider to be more PC to take on the establishment and change the Status quo and we never had Democrats go so nutty as they are not to destroy this President, so I wouldn’t give them the satisfaction either of giving them information that they would use to hurt me.

--appointed offspring and offspring's spouse to high level White House positions despite their lack of any relevant experience.

Check: Bobby Kennedy

--lied while in office about paying off a pornstar to keep her quiet.

What he did before privately before he get into the Oval Office is not my concern.

--used Twitter to threaten witnesses against him, and dangle pardons for those considering keeping mum.

Which is his constitutional right.

--called the press "enemies of the people".

Which they are especially the majority of the liberal ones.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

SuperLib: Trump is a psychopath at this point.

Could you tell us at exactly what point you think he became a psychopath?

Wasn't it the day he announced his candidacy? Because that caused a lot of people to laugh and say there was no way he would ever become president. I enjoy watching those videos whenever I need a good laugh.

Shall I give you a link? :D

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

I'm sure your government has been working over time to dig up dirt on Donny's opponents and further divide my country.

Grown-ups take responsibility for their own actions. If you don't want a divided country, you might start with yourself rather than blaming some imaginary Russian bogeyman.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Your society is governed by elitist criminals who care nothing about the people. It's all about lining their own pockets.

@Toasted Heretic: I don't agree with most of what you say, but there is often a solid kernel of truth in your comments. It's a shame we fall apart when it comes to identifying the solution.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Serrono:. Could you tell us at exactly what point you think he became a psychopath?

Sure, it was after reading the witnesses' statements on Ukraine.

Shall I give you a link?

Nah, reading bass' statements from before the election will suffice. And the last time you gave links it was from that anti-Semite

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Wouldn't it be interesting if some compromising information about Biden's shady business dealings "emerged" in October.

lol with decades of Trump shady dealing wouldnt it be interesting if some shady dealings of Trump suddenly surfaces just before next election, and there would be any need to ask a foreign government for help finding it can all be found in the USA. If I had to place a bet I bet the democrats have far more ammunition against Trump than visevera. Voters have short memories keeping some ammo available just before vote day would be a smart decision

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Minority male here, unlike the rest of my race I am not brainwashed by the left, President Trump is getting my vote!

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Arrrgh-Type - "It seems like Republicans and Democrats are intractable," said Mark Updegrove, a presidential historian and chairman of the Lyndon Baines Johnson Foundation. "They are both adhering to their own versions of reality, whether they're based in truth or not."

This "both sides" nonsense has to stop. There's nothing on the left even close to the Fox News-AM Talk Radio-Breitbart-Drudge right wing multiverse. Period.

Both sides seem to make the same claims regarding the other side.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Uh-uh, considering what the Dems have been doing to undermine the people, they practically wrote the book on fascism.

Holding Donny accountable is not undermining the people. Not to mention 3 million more people voted for the other candidate, so you can't honestly say the Dems are trying to undermine the people.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Psyops,by you supporting Trump, you have be unwittingly brainwashed by Trump

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Chip Star - Not to mention 3 million more people voted for the other candidate,

And yet you chose to mention it.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Virginia now has Democrats in control of the house, senate and governorship, Kentucky has just elected it's first Democratic governor in a generation, and the governor's race in Mississippi is too early to call. All are being seen as referenda on the GOP and the occupant of the WH.
